DRAWING, 5-7 A/B

AGES: 5-7 years old

This class introduces students to the basic concepts and techniques of drawing.  Students will learn everything, from line to weight to grayscale, and much more. Everyone will have an opportunity to execute projects and create pieces that exemplify their own imagination and personalities, while learning and utilizing proper technique.  

Classes meet once a week for 60 minutes.

Students can also combine drawing and painting classes for total of 2 hours per week.

Required Supplies: lead pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B), eraser, stump, sketchbook, black ball point pen

mixed media, 5-7 A/B

AGES: 5-7 years old

This class introduces students to the basic concepts and techniques of various mixed art media.  Students will have a chance to explore new and exciting techniques, such as blending, color harmonizing, amongst others, while emphasizing on the conceptual aspect of the given project.  The course is designed to help students expand their imagination and change the way they see things to better enhance their artistic abilities. 

Classes meet once a week for 60 minutes.

Students can also combine drawing and painting classes for total of 2 hours per week.

Required Supplies: brushes, acrylic paints (red, yellow, white, and black), plastic palettes and palette knife, palette pad, sketchbook, and apron.
