MUSIC LESSONS FOR ADULTS
Adult Programs at Miami Fine Arts Academy are designed for adults all ages, all levels of music proficiency, including complete beginners, and for all music instruments taught at our school. You can choose between individual and group classes, as well as fun classes for couples. Our music teachers select special methods designed for adults, and customize the program to your individual musical goals. Adult Programs at our Academy are enhanced by multiple performing opportunities to showcase a solo performance or jam with other musicians in our regular annual recital or specialized events scheduled just for adults.

It is NEVER too late to learn the language of music. It is a Universal Language, and the difference between the language we speak and the language of music is that we use symbols instead of letters.

No Time for Practicing?
That’s ok. We give our busy adults a great foundation during their weekly scheduled classes. Much of your learning process takes place during your classes. No stress and no need to spend hours practicing, unless you would like to showcase your learnt skill and accomplishments in front of an audience.
Are You Obligated to Participate in Any of Our Performing Events?
No pressure, all events are Optional. You and your teacher decide whether you are ready and/or desire to participate in our fantastic performing events. We always recommend this experience for both, adults and children, not only because our events are fun but also because performing for others builds confidence, helps you set and accomplish goals, and exposes you to other interesting and cool people like yourself. We will be hosting Recitals just for adults in the near future accompanied by evening receptions where you would mingle with other adults.
No Instrument at Home?
You can conveniently schedule your FREE practicing sessions at the Academy on any of our beautiful acoustical instruments.
How Fast Can You Learn to Play a Musical Instrument With Ease?
You will play and read basic music notation at the end of your first class. Yes, you will be making music on the first class! To be proficient and to read music effortlessly require approximately 6 months to a year of regular music classes. Much of what you would like to take from this experience depends on you and your commitment to weekly scheduled classes.
